LEGO Sets Characters and Minifigures

LEGO Minifigures can be obtained via sets or separately purchased. Most minifigures are distributed in sets and can be generic (police officer, construction worker), a character from a franchise (Batman, Superman), or made-up characters to fit a particular set. LEGO characters from game or film franchises that feature in sets can be incredibly popular. The added hype from the film or game really increase demand for these minifigures. LEGO will often distribute the mostly highly desirable character variants in the higher-range sets, although other variants do appear in the cheaper sets.

LEGO Characters and Themes

Themed licensed sets such as LEGO Overwatch or Harry Potter are popular, but it is often the LEGO characters that add the extra excitement for fans. Minifigures add playability, all the different and new molds, prints and accessories can take a set from a 6/10 to a 10/10.

Above you can find guides of the latest minifigures from new themes! We detail whether the characters are accurate in LEGO form, which figures have new molds, and much more!

Fun fact: LEGO’s first movie and TV licensed themes started in 1999 with Winnie the Pooh and Star Wars.
